Here you determine how the tasks of the Task folder will be distributed to your course participants.

Assign task

Message for users: You have the possibility to give your users some information.

Type of assignment: Either your users are able to see the tasks you have put at their disposal in order to choose one of them or a task is assigned to them automatically.

Type of sampling: «With replacement; your task will be assigned to more than one user.» This means that the tasks within the task folder can be assigned to your participants any number of times. You can e.g. let your 50 participants choose between three tasks and thus make sure that all 50 of them have been assigned one of these three tasks in the end.
«Without replacement; your task will be assigned to only one single user.» This means that every task can be choosen only once. If a task has already been selected by a participant the others will not be able to do so anymore.
