Help concerning notifications

The following objects can be subscribed: Forum, folder, Wiki.

OLAT can assist you in getting information on modifications regarding subscribed objects. In order to get this information you have to determine first the relevant objects you want to stay informed on. You have to select Subscribe in the relevant objects. Once a day you will receive the subscribed notifications via e-mail. You have the possibility to get information on modifications via RSS-Feed (link on Home) .

If you have the right to use the assessment tool you can be notified in case of new incoming test results.

On the overview page you will only see news. By means of Home -> Notifications you will get a list of all subscribed objects. Furthermore, you will get the following information:

Status: The entry Valid will appear if you have access to the relevant object as well as if this is no longer the case (e.g. if the conditions concerning access have changed in the mean time). In this second case you will get a notification after trying to get access that your right to access has expired. If the course or group you have subscribed to has been deleted you will see the entry Source of notification deleted! .

Action: You have the possibility to delete subscribed objects of the table at any time. Selecting Unsubscribe in the relevant objects will generate the same effect.
