Input of information while adding a learning resource.

Before being able to create or add learning rescources you have to fill in some information (so called meta data).

Information on this entry Id: The identificatin number will be generated while saving learning resources and is not available now.

Title of learning resource: You have to provide the learning resource with a title (maximum: 100 signs). This title will help you to find the relevant learning resource via Search form .

Initiator: Automatically inserted user name of the user who created this learning resource (cannot be altered) . The Initiator can be looked up in the search-mask field Author: as well as other owners of this learning resource.

Description: You have to provide a description of the learning resource (maximum: 255 signs). This description will help you to find the relevant learning resource via Search form .

File name: Automatically generated file name of learning resource (cannot be altered) .

Type: The learning resources can be of the following different types: Course, CP learning content, SCORM learning content, Resource folder, Questionnaire, Test, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Animation, Image, Sound, Movie or Other file . This types can be looked up by means of check boxes in the Search form .

Can be copied: This field may contain an active or inactive check box. OLAT users specified in the field Access have: will be able to copy your resource by means of this setting.

Can be launched: This field may contain an active or inactive check box as well as the entry Launch not supported . By means of this setting you can determine whether your resource can be launched in OLAT.

Can be downloaded: This field may contain an active or inactive check box. OLAT users specified in the field Access have: will be able to download your resource by means of this setting.

Access have: You can distribute the following access rights:
«Only owners of this learning resource»: Only the owners can see the learning resource and get access to it.
«Owners and other OLAT authors»: In addition to owners all other authors in OLAT will get access to the learning resource as well.
«All registered OLAT users»: All registered users can see the resource and get access to it.
«Registered OLAT users and guests»: This setting enables all users to get access, even non-registered guests.
