OLAT Help

Welcome to OLAT. OLAT means Online Learning And Training and is an open-source Learning Management System (LMS). OLAT was first used in the winter term 99/00 by Prof. Schauer at the Institut of Computer Science, which is part of the University of Zurich. The department Multimedia & E-Learning Services at Zurich University, section Computer Science Services, is in charge of OLAT since June 2001 and develops this system further. In the meantime OLAT is used by all faculties of Zurich University, by the ETH Zurich, by SVC projects, as well as by other universities in Switzerland.

OLAT is an open-source software, meaning that OLAT can be downloaded, installed, and used all over the world.

This Help is meant for all those interested in OLAT, especially for authors and course administrators. OLAT Help shall provide replies to any kind of question. More detailed answers to questions that may occur can be found when using the context-sensitive Help, which is available on each OLAT page; just look out for the question mark icon.
